Raw bones are safe for dogs - unlike cooked bones which are very dangerous as they splinter and small sharp pieces can become lodged. Although raw bones don't tend to splinter always keep an eye on your dog whilst they're eating bones. If any splintering occurs - remove and dispose of the bone.
